Wine & Vine Seminar Series

Class, Workshop, and Open Studios, Food and Drinks

June 6 | 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

$45 – $50

Our inaugural Wine & Vine event, The Lovely Loire, explores the wines of the Loire Valley in a seminar-style tasting. Discover the different grape varieties and wine regions within the valley while tasting and discussing the unique characteristics of each wine and their perfect food pairings. Steered by special guest Andrew Bishop, Founder/CEO of Oz Wine Company, participants will travel up France’s longest and most untamed river, starting from the Massif central from the iconic vineyards of the Central Vineyards, through the castle-trodden tuffeau soils of the middle Loire where Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc thrive, and finish at the Atlantic in the minerally terroir of Melon de Bourgogne. Join us to raise a glass to the rich winemaking tradition of the Loire Valley on the beautiful premises of The Mount! This Wine & Vine tasting will feature six wines in a variety of styles—sparkling, still white, rosé, and red. Light snacks will be provided.
