Independence Day at Norman Rockwell Museum

Family Friendly, Festivals

,

July 4 | 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Norman Rockwell Museum, in partnership with The Guthrie Center, invites the public to a special day of programming. We Hold These Truths is a day honoring American independence, civic ideals, and democracy. This festive event celebrates the community spirit and humanity captured so powerfully in Rockwell’s art—and invites people of all ages to reflect and reconnect with the spirit of the day through the lens of art, music, and community. Included are a public reading of the Declaration of Independence, live music, gallery talks, drop-in art activities, and picnic lunches available for purchase.
