The Berkshires’ beauty goes beyond the landscape— it’s in the people. Connecting with this community quickly sparked two projects: launching an event space business and reviving a local Fife & Drum Corps. Both aim to serve and grow with the region. This place isn’t just scenic—it’s full of real, meaningful opportunities.”

“There are so many memorable firsts that I associate with the Berkshires. I bought my second home in Sheffield, learned how to ski at Butternut, and my now-husband proposed to me at Thomas and Palmer Brook Park. I also quit my job and started our company in Great Barrington, and I saw my first black bear with my dog, Walt. The Berkshires have opened doors to new experiences for me, allowing me to be more present and in tune with who I truly am. This journey has helped me grow in unexpected ways.”

“After growing up in the Berkshires, traveling the world, and living in Boston, my husband and I returned to the area to build a more grounded, intentional life. We’ve been amazed by the vibrant, welcoming community and the new friendships we’ve built. Professionally, I’ve found purpose consulting with local nonprofits and coaching individuals navigating career and life transitions. It’s shown me how returning home can spark growth in entirely new ways.”
