Housatonic Heritage: Walk Into the Past – The Boulders, Dalton

Family Friendly, Health and Wellness, Nature and Recreation, Outdoor Event

,

September 15 | 10:00 am - 11:30 pm

The BRNC reserve, known today as “The Boulders,” extends over more than 700 acres of land in Pittsfield, Dalton, and Lanesborough. Though most of the area has been largely undeveloped throughout recorded Berkshire history, it’s been a place of great cultural significance, impacted by human activity in a wide variety of ways. On this walk, we will go back in time to explore this rich cultural history with local historian Joe Durwin. Two miles round trip, mostly flat ground. See the Event Website to find additional details about this walk.
