Sensory-Friendly Performance: Hamlet

Shakespeare & Company 70 Kemble Street, Lenox, MA

Sensory-friendly performances are adapted to create a more welcoming theater experience for individuals with sensory sensitivities, including people are neurodivergent and first-time theatergoers. These performances may include reduced lighting and sound, pre-show guides, and a relaxed atmosphere where movement and noise are welcome. These shows are open to all patrons.

Open captioning features a large projection screen above the stage that displays the text the actors are reciting via supertitles. Those shows are open to all and accessible to Deaf or hard-of-hearing audience members.
