Search for meadow and woodland wildflowers and other signs of spring at our sanctuaries. We will take a leisurely walk and search for early blooming flowers. We’ll learn to use guidebooks and apps to look up plants we discover along the way. Bring trail snacks, curiosity, and a hand lens if you have one.

Help us care for our beautiful community gardens and wildlife sanctuary. Volunteers are needed for a wide variety of projects, including meadow restoration and fall garden clean up. Tools, gloves, and refreshments will be provided.

You’ll discover new whodunit mysteries that take place out in nature while we’re typically warm inside our homes. Dress for the weather. Snowshoes may be required depending on conditions; bring yours, or borrow ours. Please call Pleasant Valley office ahead to reserve: 413-637-0320. *Includes snowshoe rental.
