The Mind’s Eye: Paintings, Sculpture, and Books by Paul Katz
February 1 through May 27 – Annual Student Art Show This exhibition features a variety of works, including paintings, sculpture and drawing books, mainly from Katz’s Prelude and Interlock series. The Preludes are the paintings and objects with words on ribbons. The words are all taken from Henry Wordsworth’s poem “Prelude.” The look of the work was inspired in part by a photograph Katz saw in the New York Times in the days following 9/11. American Eccentricities
Join Sculptor Sarah Peters for American Eccentricities, an artist’s talk in collaboration with Usdan Gallery at Bennington College. Peters discusses her studio practice in relationship to the history of American sculpture and representative objects in the Bennington Museum collection. Her research at the museum extends from the Usdan Gallery exhibition The Body Stops Here: Keiko Narahashi and Sarah Peters on view at Usdan Gallery, February 26 through March 30.

Stoneware Collectors Meeting
Tour places in Bennington related to the pottery industry 12:30 to 2:00 pm. 1863 Jane Stickle Quilt
The quilt that inspires quilters all over the world will be on its yearly display at the Bennington Museum from August 31 through October 14. Brought to the museum over 60 years ago, the Jane Stickle Quilt is only shown for a short time each year due to the fragility of the fabric.
