More than any time in recent years, the Berkshire economy is humming along, with area businesses expanding their efforts and offerings. This progress requires new staff, meaning quality positions with top area employers are becoming available. As a job seeker interested in the region, how do you find the full-time and permanent positions you’re looking for?
In the summer of 2018, 1Berkshire launched the jobs thing, a job portal that hosts only postings for full-time, permanent jobs located in the Berkshires that pay at least $40,000 annually. Since its launch, the jobs thing has hosted nearly 300 positions for area employers and seen the majority of these positions filled. The jobs posted have been marketed both here in the Berkshires (through billboards and social media) and outside the region, helping Berkshire businesses recruit top candidates for great positions. Are you taking advantage of this useful tool?
Coupled with existing information located on the 1Berkshire websites (1Berkshire.com and Berkshires.org) regarding living, working, and enjoying life in our region, the jobs thing is an essential resource to help you find your next exciting career or next rockstar employee.
Visit 1berkshire.com/jobs to see our open positions and start exploring your future #intheberkshires.
