General Description
Berkshire Health Systems is hiring an Occupational Therapist.
- Week A – Sunday – Wednesday; Week B – Monday – Thursday
- 8:00am-4:30pm primary, 10:30am-7:00pm Mondays
- Rotating holidays
Essential Job Functions
Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist evaluates, directs, plans, and provides treatments for patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help them achieve a maximum level of functional independence. Documents patient care and results of treatment appropriately in the medical record to comply with policies and procedures of the department and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of two-year experience preferred.
- Entry-level acceptable.
Education and Training
- Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy with a bachelors or master’s degree in area of major.
- Ability to comprehend and write the English language.
License, Certification, and Registration
- MAOT – MA OT license.
- CPR required.
Other Requirements
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prostheses that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met.
