Yes! The Suffragists had Swag!

Arts and Culture, Class, Workshop, and Open Studios

May 4 | 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Maybe you know that American women won the vote in 1920. But how did they do it? In this suffrage show-and-tell, author Nancy B. Kennedy shares artifacts and photos from the 72-year fight for the woman’s vote using her children’s book, Women Win the Vote! 19 for the 19th Amendment. Following the program, children will have the opportunity to make their own inspirational pin, and enjoy a reception. This program is free and open to the public.
