Winter Tree Identification, The Boulders

Nature and Recreation, Outdoor Event

,

January 11 | 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Enjoy a hike at The Boulders while getting to know some of the more common trees in the New England landscape. Identifying trees in the winter can be tough, but we will learn easy techniques for you to practice on your own and interesting natural history facts that you won’t forget. Please bring water, wear sturdy footwear, and wear layers. Consider snowshoes or microspikes depending on the weather. BNRC has a few pairs of both to loan if needed.
