Vernal Pool Exploration: The Boulders

Class, Workshop, and Open Studios, Family Friendly, Nature and Recreation, Outdoor Event

April 22 | 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Vernal pools are unique and vital breeding grounds for amphibians and a host of other fascinating creatures. They also play a critical role in supporting the larger food web. Join this Earth Day exploration (and celebration!) of a vernal pool, looking for egg masses, amphibians, and invertebrates, and learning why it is important to protect these small bodies of water. Please bring water, wear sturdy footwear, and wear layers.
