Rhythmscape on Dunham Mall, held on select Sunday evenings from 6 to 8 pm through August 31, highlights a different rhythm and instructor from our local community each session, reflecting the many identities that make Pittsfield home. Rhythmscape is free and open to all and encourages everyone to experience the joy of movement and the beauty of cultural exchange. No experience is necessary to participate. Dunham Mall can be located by entering 100 North Street on your GPS. This Intro to Forró class will introduce you to the vibrant Brazilian partner dance, Forró. Expect to learn foundational steps, rhythms, and partner connection techniques, all while enjoying a fun and social atmosphere. No prior experience or a partner is needed. Come to one or both session!
