Rev250 Wine Tasting at Arrowhead: Jefferson – Wine Lover and Collector. Jefferson’s passion for wine began early, but it blossomed during his years in France (1784–1789) as U.S. State Minister. He traveled through Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, the Rhône, and northern Italy, taking meticulous notes on vineyards, terroirs, and prices. Join Philippe Jeanjean, Berkshire sommelier, in retracing Thomas Jefferson’s journey and experiencing his discoveries through a thoughtfully curated wine selection.
