The Fitz Gallery is available for viewing on the second floor of The Red Lion Inn, daily. While there are no set times, we just ask that patrons be mindful of the guests staying at the Inn. Currently on display is Surfacing by Machine Dazzle. Somewhere between discovery and invention, Surfacing is an exercise in up-cycling, dreaming new life into old objectives .Using the archives of The Red Lion Inn, Machine Dazzle deconstructs, repurposes, revises, and juxtaposes diverse materials, including but not limited to paintings, prints, frames, décor, furniture, wallpaper, and bric-a-brac. As an artist, he is interested in blurring the lines and provoking curiosity. The result is a dynamic re-representation of objects that speaks to the past, present, and future of the historic Red Lion Inn.
