Kate Baisley, a hair and makeup stylist and Ventfort Hall Board member, will discuss the evolution of makeup and hairstyles from the Gilded Age through the 1950’s at Ventfort Hall. A tea will be served after her presentation. From the influences and icons, to the techniques and products to create the looks, Kate will share the well rounded history of the beauty industry throughout these eras. Kate currently works in film, theater and opera. With over a decade of experience working in salons, she has trained with top New York stylists and has worked at New York Fashion Week. Kate is an avid lover of travel and history, where she finds inspiration for her craft.
