History Talk – A Voyage of Discovery: A Unitarian Missionary in Early Berkshire County

For the last presentation in our summer history talk series, scholar Carl Hammer shares the story of Edward Brooks Hall, who for twelve days in 1827 traversed the Berkshires from Williamstown to Sheffield, and kept a journal of his unique insights into conditions in the county and the situation of scattered groups of liberal Christians there including the Sedgwicks. Pre-registration is required to attend via Zoom.
