Gallery Talk for People with Dementia and Caregivers
Exhibits, Literature, Lectures, and Talks
September 29 | 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
The Clark Art Institute presents Meet Me at the Clark, a free gallery talk program designed specifically for people living with dementia and their care partners, in the permanent collection galleries. On select Mondays, when the museum is closed to the public, specially trained educators guide open-ended conversations about art and how it celebrates our shared humanity. The program, developed by the Clark’s Education Department, provides a calm and caring environment in which dementia patients and their caregivers can have private access to the galleries and enjoy the benefits of sharing art together.
