With daily reports of extreme weather, widespread loss in biodiversity habitats, and increased levels of endangered and extinct species all over the world, the time for denial is over. The exhibit “Pondering Environmental Anxieties” at Future Lab(s) Gallery in North Adams, represents two artists’ impressions of what is happening while expressing their concerns for our planet. Through multiple-media, interactive kinetic and engaging art, the viewer is reminded that our problem is affecting us on many levels. The artists do not purpose a solution to the viewer but rather allows the viewer to realize their own interpretation of these presented anxieties.
