Explore the Bidwell Trails in Winter
Nature and Recreation, Outdoor Event
February 23 | 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join the Bidwell House Museum for two invigorating guided walks on the Museum trails, January 18 and February 23. There are 6 miles of trails at the Museum, all of them accessible in the winter. With leaves off the trees and snow on the ground, you will see the trails in a whole new light and might see evidence of the animals that make their home in the Bidwell woods. These hikes will be approximately 1-2 miles and will last 1-2 hours, depending on conditions. If there is snow on the ground, hikers should bring their own snowshoes, poles, and dress in layers. Hikers should also bring water and a snack. If there is no snow on the ground the day of the walk, it will be a guided hike so please wear appropriate shoes. The walk/hike will be postponed if bad weather is forecast that day. See the Event Website to register.
