Hidden by the Weight of our Scales is an interactive exhibition exploring the human experience with portraits by Berkshire artists depicting the 27 basic human emotions.  Under the scales of the 40-foot dragon sculpture, visitors will reveal portraits, to consider and identify each represented emotion. It will include a key identifying the intended expressions.  In today’s dialogue around mental health and complex global problems, the exhibition will provide a playful moment to explore the subtlety of our emotional landscape. By their nature, emotions are subjective, however, through interacting with the installation, one can potentially gain clarity and empathy for others.
