City Nature Challenge: Spring Ephemerals

Class, Workshop, and Open Studios, Nature and Recreation, Outdoor Event

April 26 | 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Learn how to use the iNaturalist app on your phone and practice on the variety of spring ephemerals found at The Boulders reserve, all while participating in a global bioblitz! You’ll come away from this program as a community scientist ready to participate in the next 3 days of the City Nature Challenge. The City Nature Challenge is an international event where people find and document plants and wildlife in cities across the globe: a bioblitz-style activity where people around the world discover the diversity of life that surrounds us every day. Hundreds of cities on six continents take part, asking residents of and visitors to explore nature all around them and document the species found! See the Event Website for more information.
