Birding at the Mount

Class, Workshop, and Open Studios, Nature and Recreation, Outdoor Event

May 21 | 8:00 am - 10:00 am on Tuesdays

Explore Edith Wharton’s original estate, including its woods, wetlands, and meadows. Learn skills to bird by sight and sound as we look for numerous bird species, including bobolinks, woodpeckers, vireos, and warblers. Walks depart from the main parking lot. For the safety and enjoyment of all, advanced registration is required. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated. This program is in high demand so please sign up for no more than two dates at one time to ensure that many people can enjoy the experience.
