The Braid: I Loved Jew, I Loved Jew Not
Arts and Culture, Diversity and Inclusion, History and Heritage, Online Event
February 1 | 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Braid – the “Go-To Jewish Story Company” – returns with another live performance presented via Zoom, this time depicting a powerful transformation from hate to love – I Loved Jew, I Loved Jew Not. True stories of antisemitism and the strength to stand against it are brought to life in a powerful new work of theatre. Five actors perform these stories, offering fresh words from Jews about today’s current crisis as well as other deeply personal experiences not often covered in the media. Whether Jewish or not, you will be moved by these stories, finding in them a warmth and a strength that has remained steadfast among the Jewish community for thousands of years. Experience this 65-minute live theater production presented by actors from The Braid, which will be followed by a moderated Q&A session led by the company’s Jodi Marcus and Ronda Spinak. See the Event Website to register for this free performance.
