When you’re planning a trip to the Berkshires, keep costs down with discounted tickets for local attractions, seasonal packages on lodgings, and free activities. Are you a student, active military, Massachusetts teacher, or EBT cardholder? Bring your ID and enjoy reduced rates at participating venues.

Enjoy a Ski & Stay package when you book at room at the Williamstown Motel, a partnership with Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort. The motel is located close to The Clark, a renowned art museum offering free daily admission until March 30, 2025 – plus, the museum grounds are always open to the public for walks and snowshoeing all year long. Berkshire Valley Inn, another budget-friendly option in Williamstown, also offers a ski and stay package at Jiminy Peak, continental breakfast, an on-site dog park, and a (seasonal) pool. Nearby Williams College Museum of Art is always free.

If your travel plans include visiting Pittsfield’s Downtown Cultural District but you’re looking for affordable lodging outside the city limits, book an efficiency suite at Weathervane Motel in Lanesborough. After venturing out for a bike ride on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail (during warm weather seasons), catching a show at Berkshire Theatre Group‘s Colonial Theater, or exploring Pittsfield’s downtown shops like Truffles by Tarah, unwind in your cozy Weathervane room with complimentary HBO.

Just south of Pittsfield, the Yankee Inn offers a convenient location close to Berkshire cultural and outdoor attractions plus seasonal discounted lift tickets for guests. Visit the Arcadian Shop nearby for your outdoor gear needs.

For a resort experience choose the Holiday Inn Club Vacation Oak ‘N Spruce Resort in South Lee. This winter you can take advantage of their Hotel Package that includes lift tickets at Bousquet Mountain. From there, head for outlet shopping at the Lee Premium Outlets or museums in Stockbridge – don’t miss the Norman Rockwell Museum (check out their shop for seasonal sales).

Traveling in the southern Berkshires? Make a reservation at Monument Mountain Motel in Great Barrington – they also offer a ski and stay package with Ski Butternut. Head downtown for art galleries and interesting shops then treat yourself to comfort food at Marketplace Kitchen or Xicohtencatl Mexican. Visit historic sites and landmarks on the Upper Housatonic Valley African American Heritage Trail. Or stop in at the tasting rooms at Berkshire Mountain Distillers and Big Elm Brewing. For more discount shopping that supports a great cause, pop into Catwalk Boutique. All proceeds benefit the animals at Berkshire Humane Society.
