Evening Amphibian Search with Mass Audubon

Class, Workshop, and Open Studios, Outdoor Event

  • April 29 | 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Discover the incredible creatures that live on the forest floor and visit vernal pools in the spring. At this all-outdoor program, we will introduce you to local amphibian life while searching for species like wood frogs, red efts, and spotted salamanders in their natural habitat. You’ll also learn what you can do to protect these incredible animals. This evening program includes time around wetlands and streams, so waterproof shoes are recommended. Please bring a flashlight—ideally one with a red light—to help minimize disturbance to wildlife.
