Berkshire250, History and Heritage, Performing Arts & Entertainment

July 3 | 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm

This event features a reenactment of Susan B. Anthony’s 1876 speech titled The Declaration of the Rights of Women of the United States. Reenactors will first read excerpts from the Declaration of Independence, followed by Anthony’s speech. The reenactment will also include an interactive component and a voucher for free ice cream at Rainbow Shack. Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about women’s rights and Adams-born Susan B. Anthony’s activism, and reflect on what Independence Day means to you as we enter the holiday weekend.
