A staged reading of a brand new play from Berkshire Voices, Ocean Walk. Fire Island is underwater. A cataclysmic storm finally breached the last of the Island’s defenses. All residents have evacuated…except one: Harry, a longtime resident of the Pines, who refuses to leave his submerged home even when Casey, a 17-year-old senior deckhand of the Sayville Ferry Service, shows up to fish him out. Following the reading, Playwright Gianfranco Lentini, Director Jonathon Loy, and the GB Public Artistic Team will host a talkback to talk about the play and the development of new work and how Berkshire Voices supports new playwrights.
