Butterflies Through Binoculars

Class, Workshop, and Open Studios, Outdoor Event

,

May 31 | 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

$20 – $25

At this combined workshop and walk geared toward beginners, learn about the major groups of butterflies (and a few day-flying moths) in the region and how you can incorporate butterfly viewing into your next hike or gardening session. Afterwards, we will go outside and look for butterflies while having a bring-your-own-lunch picnic in the meadow. This program will focus on the hobby of viewing adult butterflies; we will not be catching or handling butterflies. Caterpillar identification or rearing will not be a major focus of this program.
