Earth Month Film Festival: Nocturnes

Performing Arts & Entertainment

March 25 | 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Images Cinema announces the 2025 Earth Month Film Festival, a celebration of our home, the Earth. 2025’s theme is Animals & Us, thinking about how people care for animals and animals care for us, from both an agricultural standpoint as well as from a therapeutic standpoint, as well as how caring for and protecting key species allows animals to care for the planet.  The festival consists of four documentaries and two feature films shown between March 25 and April 22.

Nocturnes – Starting at 6pm, there will be experiential activities with artist, educator, and citizen scientist Lauren Levato Coyne. At 7pm there will be a talk about moths and their significance as pollinators, as well as how gridded night counts work and how you could try one for yourself, preceding the film screening. This screening continues our annual celebration of Women in STEM for Women’s History Month and National Science on Screen© Day, and also is the launch film for Earth Month Film Festival 2025.
