Thinking outside the box is a phrase used to express a creative thinking process outside the norms without limitations. This exhibit, Thinking Inside the Box…Embracing the Constraints, focuses on what can be created within the confines of a limited space by looking at things in a new way to find unique and creative solutions.  Artists LeMaitre and Fietta created a series of assemblage pieces, all in the constraints of a cigar box sized framed vessel. The series presents a sometimes whimsical or irrational juxtaposition of thoughts using objects that have been either discarded or forgotten to evocate a narrative.
