The Unique Courtship of the American Woodcock
Class, Workshop, and Open Studios
March 12 | 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
$15 – $20
When the sun sets in early spring, woodcock love is in the air. Wet meadows and fields are transformed into a “runway” for the beautiful aerial courtship displays of this intriguing bird. At this indoor presentation, learn from a Mass Audubon naturalist about the natural history of the American Woodcock, including where and why they dance. We will also recommend a few possible places (or even upcoming programs you can sign up for) to search for this local spectacle.
