Mary Oliver as Muse

Beloved poet Mary Oliver (1935 – 2019) wrote of self-compassion and the natural world. In this discussion/writing workshop, we’ll explore these themes in Oliver’s poems and in brief writing exercises. No writing experience or prior knowledge of Oliver necessary. All adults are welcome to attend but space is limited. Please preregister: (413-243-0385) or lee@cwmars.org  Please bring a notebook and a pen. This program is free for participants and is supported in part by a grant from the Lee Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
