Influenced by Shaker style and aesthetic, 18 unique and prominent woman artists are featured in installations throughout Hancock Shaker Village, home of one of the largest and most comprehensive collections of Shaker material culture in the world.  These women artists have contemporary visions of Shaker ideals through gift drawings, gardens, weaving, textiles, sculpture, and utilitarian design. A reception will be held on May 18th to welcome all the artists to the Village and give members and visitors an opportunity to hear more about how they were influenced and inspired by the Shakers.
