Join us for drop-in drawing with Julie Henderson in the Cinema Lounge. Bring your own drawing materials. Some materials will also be provided.  Julie Henderson grew up in Massachusetts, and received her BFA in Painting and Art History from Massachusetts College of Art in 1993. Julie works in oil painting as well as drawing in various media, and has been part of several recent exhibits. She likes to start from realism, using a scene, object, or figure as a reference. She then pushes toward abstraction by focusing on color relationships, atmosphere, and shape, while maintaining a strong emotional connection to the original subject.
