Let’s set aside the Fabriano and d’Arches watercolor paper and try painting with watercolor, aniline dyes and India ink on maple or birch veneer plywood. Our aim will be to encourage experimentation on the new substrate resulting in more abstract finished paintings. Some experience is helpful but not essential.
