Pittsfield

As the county seat and its largest community, Pittsfield is at the literal and figurative center of the Berkshires. The city has an abundance of open space including dozens of parks, lakes, wildlife sanctuaries, and historic sites. Pittsfield regularly places in the Top 20 Most Vibrant Arts Communities in America. In 2017 the town was awarded 1st place.
