School Vacation Week at The Clark

    The Clark Art Institute offers children and families fun activities celebrating its permanent collection and the special exhibition Shadow Visionaries: French Artists Against the Current, 1840–70 from Tuesday, February 17 through Thursday, February 19 (part of the Massachusetts public school system’s February vacation week). The Clark’s vacation week programming explores themes of imagination, fantasy, and ghostly realities. Tuesday-Thursday activities are below. On Friday, drop in to catch any or all of seven episodes of Rod Serling’s The Twilight Zone.
    10 am – noon: Sculpt your own gargoyle or otherworldy creature out of mixed media materials
    1:00 pm: Join a Clark educator for an all-ages interactive hour of Shadow Visionaries, including playful writing and storytelling activities
