Material Transformations at Mixed Media Space — Exhibition + Artist & Director Meet & Talk. Material Transformations, curated by NYC-based Cheryl Molnar, is a contemporary group exhibition at Mixed Media Space in North Adams featuring nine internationally exhibiting artists working across sculpture, textiles, collage, and materially driven practices. Several artists are recipients of major honors, including Pollock-Krasner and Guggenheim fellowships. The exhibition explores material, memory, sustainability, and transformation within a repurposed 1890s mill. During ArtWeek, visitors are invited to meet the gallery director and learn about the curatorial process, participating artists, and the development of the exhibition. The gallery will be open 12–5 pm, with an Artist & Director Meet & Talk from 2–4 pm.
