    Designed for life-long learners who seek to deepen their dance-going experience, dance educator, Pillow alum, and writer Kate Mattingly, Ph.D., will examine different approaches to experience and interpret dance as an audience member, drawing from the work of artists featured in the upcoming Festival 2026. Participants will explore how live performance is shaped by aesthetics, artists’ intentions, and unique context.
