High Tea

Berkshire250, History and Heritage, Literature, Lectures, and Talks

     In collaboration with MA250, the Friends of the Adams Library, the Adams Historical Society, and the Adams Theater will host a High Tea and Speakers Event.  Attendees will enjoy a classic English High Tea with savory quiches and freshly prepared finger sandwiches followed by warm scones with clotted cream, and a variety of home made sweets and pastries. A selection of teas and other beverages will also be served.  Your teacup and saucer are yours to keep!  Lynda Bianchi, a retired educator, will discuss the history of tea, its consumption in England and Colonial America, and the Boston Tea Party. Eugene Michalenko, president of the Adams Historical Society, will speak on Sam Adams, namesake of the Town of Adams. All net proceeds will be shared between the Friends of the Adams Library, the Adams Historical Society,  and the Adams Theater .
