Gustavo Casenave is a three-time Grammy® Award-winning pianist, composer, and Steinway Artist, known for his ferocious performance (LA Times) that bridges jazz, classical, and tango. Honored as Cultural Ambassador by Uruguay’s Ministry of Culture and named Illustrious Citizen of Montevideo, he has performed worldwide at Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Blue Note, and major international festivals. Casenave has collaborated with Yo-Yo Ma, John Patitucci, Eddie Gomez, Christian McBride, and Bette Midler. He is the current Artistic Director of the José Ignacio International Jazz Festival in Uruguay and a former educator at The Juilliard School.
