Chat GBPT

Literature, Lectures, and Talks, Performing Arts & Entertainment

  • January 27 | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

This month we’ll be discussing the topic of: Theater on the Edge, How Do We Meet the Moment? The discussion will be moderated by our dynamic Artistic Director team, Judy Braha and Jim Frangione. Our panelists will be Jim Petosa and James Nicola. Producing theater in a dynamic and meaningful way has never been easy. Particularly since the pandemic, theaters have been struggling to fulfill their missions, encourage audiences to come to in-person events, retain subscribers/donors and cultivate new work as well as new audiences. How DO we, as theater-makers, navigate these political and societal pressures and meet the moment to insure the future of this powerful art form?
