Book Club at the Mount

Belong Berkshires, Literature, Lectures, and Talks, Online Event

  • March 26 | 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The only thing better then reading a book on a winter’s eve is discussing the story with friends! Join The Mount online book club and explore the themes, characters, plot, and structure of three great stories, while enjoying the company of other people passionate about reading. The first group meeting is January 15 at 4 PM to discuss Edith Wharton’s Old New York. Old New York — a collection of four novellas, False Dawn, The Old Maid, The Spark, and New Year’s Day, exploring the rigid social codes of 19th-century New York society. Book Club conversations are virtual, hosted by Zoom. They are free to attend but registration is required.
