Author Talk: Harvesting Legacy
Literature, Lectures, and Talks
December 2 | 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Williamstown Rural Lands is excited to host Michael Hutton-Woodland as he shares the research and experience behind his first novel, Harvesting Legacy. The novel explores the difficult decisions facing a rural family as they handle the succession of their farmland, and the philosophical debates between development and conservation. Michael will share his experience interviewing numerous families and farmers in New England and how that work integrated into his first novel. Talk is at Williamstown Rural Land’s Sheep Hill campus. Light refreshments will be served. Books will be available to purchase at the event or can be found online. We also have a copy at the office to lend or at the local library!
