Ride the Pittsfield State Forest MTB loop, 1.3 mile beginner mountain bike loop
Whether you are a seasoned pro on the MTB or a brand new rider, you will find something fun to ride in Pittsfield State Forest! Not familiar with riding at Pittsfield State Forest? Here’s a beginner trail to get you started! The Honey Bear Loop is a super fun and mellow trail that leaves from the Lulu Brook Parking lot and enters the woods just to the right of the wooden cabin by the paved road. One insider recommendation would be to ride this trail clockwise. The Trailforks loop shows to ride this trail counter clockwise.
Visit the crew at Berkshire Bike and Board for more cycling recommendations in Pittsfield at 502C East Street. Open 7 days a week and offering mountain bike rentals, sales and bike repair.
