Open studio and easeful artmaking on the back porch. Julia Morgan offers a glimpse into her work and process in drawing, watercolor and oil painting, along with an opportunity to try your hand at different mediums from chalk pastel to watercolor. Weather cooperating we will be set up with watercolor exercises, still life and/or multi-media portrait-making on the back porch; if inclement, we will be inside. Explore her new watercolor installation project ‘Almost Human’ in process, and view the work on the walls and in the flat files. Find out about her classes, workshops, consultations, and upcoming art travel in Italy! Bring your own supplies to work with, or supplies will be on hand for which a suggested donation is appreciated. Julia’s studio is near the Five Corners ‘circle’ where you can stroll down to the river, and stop by the Historic Store at Five Corners for lunch or a latte. The Williamstown Historic Museum is next door, as well as nearby Cricket Creek Farm, known for its delicious cheeses and exuberant cow herd, and Field Farm Trustees of Reservation property is  for a nature stroll and maybe, sketch!
