Arts and Culture, Berkshire250

, ,

October 4 - Daily

Visit the Bidwell House Museum October 3, 4, and 5 to immerse yourself in the lives of the men and women who lived during America’s Revolutionary War. As you make your way down Art School Road to the Museum, you will be able to leave the modern world behind and enter a time when fire was used for cooking, everyone lived off the land and muskets were the weapon of choice. There will be a schedule of events each day that will include lectures, tactical experiences and artillery demonstrations. Tickets are required for adults, but children 12 and under can attend for free. Experience the Revolutionary War on a Monterey property that tells the story of life in the 18th century Berkshires. Special preview event and reception on Friday at 4. Main program on Saturday and Sunday.

Actors in revolutionary costumes act out a scene from the Revolutionary War, highlighting the event of living history at the Bidwell House.
