This is the key question that is raised by this philosophical and thoughtful comedy. Ms. Lipkin serves as Cantorial Soloist at Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation in Simsbury, CT and has performed on many concert stages including opening for Steve Forbert, Dar Williams, John Pizzarelli to name a few.

Since her actual birthplace was Shanghai, far from her ancestral roots, as an adult she felt impelled to fully rediscover and understand her past. Her story is shared by the 20,000 refugees from Germany, Austria, Poland and Lithuania in the largest haven for settlement on the planet in the 1930’s.
