At a moment when we can all use an uplifting story director Jennifer Trainer’s documentary film, Museum Town, narrates the origins of MASS MoCA, the world’s largest contemporary art museum, in rural North Adams, Massachusetts. It’s a story of gentrification transforming a depressed area, in which much of a community resisted the dramatic change their small town was facing three decades ago.
